The illuminated Harbour Town Lighthouse highlights a moonlit evening at the Harbour Town Yacht Basin on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The 90 ft. high structure was privately built in 1970 and is a private aid to navigation.

It was completed a year after the adjacent yacht basin which includes slips for 100 mega yachts. The basin is surrounded by restaurants and shops and is in the heart of the Sea Pines Resort near the southern tip of the island.

The lighthouse is open to the public and is famous worldwide thanks to the annually televised PGA Heritage Golf Tournament. Golf fans can see the lighthouse adjacent to the 18th hole at the Harbour Town Golf links.

The in the distance, across Calibogue Sound, is Daufuskie Island, home of the Haig Point community which is only reachable by ferry from Harbour Town.
